1. General rule
If an item is illegal to sell or ship where you or your buyer are, it may not be listed here. The list below is not exhaustive; we may remove anything we judge unsafe, deceptive, or damaging to the community, and we may ask for evidence that an item complies with the law.
2. Never allowed
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and their components.
- Drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, vaping products, and alcohol.
- Live animals, and products from endangered or protected species, including ivory and protected furs, feathers, shells, and corals.
- Human remains or body fluids.
- Hazardous materials, and recalled or unsafe products.
- Counterfeit goods, replicas, and anything infringing a trademark, copyright, or right of publicity.
- Stolen property, and cultural artefacts removed unlawfully.
- Items promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination, or associated with hate groups.
- Sexually explicit material, and any material involving minors.
- Prescription medical devices, and products making unapproved health claims.
- Currency, financial instruments, gift cards, and anything designed to defraud.
- Personal data, account credentials, followers, votes, and reviews.
3. Allowed with conditions
- Cosmetics, soaps, and candles: must list ingredients and follow labelling rules where you sell.
- Food and edible goods: must comply with local food-safety, labelling, and allergen rules; perishables must be shipped safely.
- Children's items and toys: must meet applicable safety standards, including small-parts and lead requirements.
- Jewellery: must meet metal-content and nickel rules and be described accurately.
- Vintage and craft supplies: allowed where clearly labelled as such and not passed off as handmade by you.
4. Enforcement and reporting
We remove listings that break these rules, and may suspend or close repeat offenders. Anyone can report a listing from its page, or by writing to support@craftrader.com.
