Seller Agreement

The additional rules that apply when you open a shop and sell on CrafTrader.

Last updated: July, 24 2026

1. Who may sell

To open a shop you must be at least 18, able to enter contracts, and legally permitted to sell the items you list. You must give accurate business and payout information and keep it current.

2. Handmade standard

CrafTrader is for handmade work. You must have made the item yourself, or with the help of people you name in your shop, or it must fall within a category we explicitly allow such as vintage or craft supplies, labelled as such.

You must not resell mass-produced goods as handmade, use another maker's photographs, or misrepresent where an item was made. Doing so is grounds for immediate removal and account closure.

3. Listings

Describe items accurately, including materials, dimensions, weight, care, and any variation a buyer should expect. Photograph the actual item. State a realistic processing time and keep stock counts current.

Prices must include everything the buyer must pay to you except shipping and taxes shown separately at checkout.

4. Orders and fulfilment

Ship within your stated processing time, use tracked shipping where available, and mark orders as shipped in your dashboard. Tell the buyer promptly if you cannot fulfil an order, and refund in full when you cannot.

Repeated late shipping, unfulfilled orders, or unanswered messages may lead to reduced visibility in search, suspension of your shop, or closure of your account.

5. Fees, commission and payouts

We deduct a commission from each completed sale at the rate set by your membership plan, plus payment-processing fees charged by the payment provider. The applicable rates are shown in your dashboard before you sell.

Payouts are released on the schedule shown in your dashboard. We may hold a payout while we investigate a dispute, chargeback, or suspected policy violation. If a buyer wins a chargeback, we may reverse the corresponding payout.

6. Subscriptions

Membership plans, your own website, a Sunday Market stall, featured placements, and advertising are monthly subscriptions billed in advance and renewed automatically until you cancel from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep the benefits through the end of the period already paid.

If a subscription that unlocks a feature lapses, that feature stops. For example, if the plan that includes your own website ends, the storefront on your subdomain stops serving until a qualifying plan is active again. Your shop on the marketplace is unaffected.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for determining, collecting where required, and remitting your own taxes. Where a marketplace-facilitator law requires us to collect and remit sales tax on a transaction, we will do so and will show it separately.

8. Your shop policies

You may set your own return window, processing time, and shipping terms, as long as they are at least as protective as our Returns & Refunds policy on items that arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described.

9. Ending the relationship

You may close your shop at any time, after fulfilling or refunding open orders. We may suspend or close a shop that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
